Finding the lowest price that an item can be bought for is very daunting and the money that is
saved might not make up for the time spent looking for the price that fits the bill, but there are a
few shortcuts that can be taken:

1. Auctions – When looking for dirt cheap items, looking into some auction businesses could be
of great help. There are a lot of ways to go about doing so like, trying online auction shops or
“ brick and mortar ” ones, but there's one certainty, looking carefully and having some patience
can get an almost new item for half the price or even better. Be careful though, getting caught in
the heat of the auction might get a higher price in exchange for the pride of beating the other
bidders.

2. eBay – eBay is another great option for finding cheap deals for certain items that one could
search for, also, making sure to be on the lookout for last minute auctions means the possibility
of finding the item at a fixed price that is still lower than the retail price. Some think that buying
on eBay is an art, but I think that all you need to do is pay attention and be patient.

3. Coupon codes – coupon codes or pieces of paper that usually get you a 5% discount on
some items. They aren't that great, but sometimes you can find some really good ones and
even a 10% discount is better than nothing. If you're shopping online, there are some websites
that give away coupon codes for different shops.

4. Discount days or anniversaries – Every shop has these and they can be quite handy
sometimes. Days like Black Friday or Prime Day on Amazon can get you some beefy discounts
on specific items, especially electronics. You just have to be patient and hold on to buying that
TV until “ The Day ” comes. Also, you have to be prepared because good offers usually
disappear in a matter of minutes, if not seconds.

Finding the lowest price is definitely difficult and finding a balance between the lowest price, the
quality of the item, and the time spent finding it can be tricky. But if the above methods are used

finding something that fits your bill shouldn’t be difficult.
